About Dr Tara Tran
Dr Tran enjoys general practice and building long term therapeutic relationships with her patients. Her interests include reproductive, women’s and sexual health, children’s health, mental health, Workcover and long term management of chronic conditions.
She also enjoys preventative health and helping patients manage health checks and keeping up to date with health screening.
She is accredited for the Antenatal Shared Care Program with Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and The Royal Hospital for women. She does some minor skin procedures, cryotherapy and manages iron infusion for iron deficiency. She can insert the implanon device, administer vaccinations and enjoys counselling.
Dr Tran graduated with a Bachelor of medicine from Sydney University where she completed her medical degree with honours. She has worked at Royal North shore hospital, St George hospital and many rural hospitals prior to completing GP training in Sydney.
Professionalism and clear communication and good relationships with patients are important as she works with patients to achieve optimal health outcomes.
When she is not on holidays travelling or looking after her children she likes to go bushwalking, rock climbing and likes to dabble in some golf.
